Saving your money is

Saving money is not just spending it! If you go to a toy store and
see something you'd really like
to buy, but
decide not to, that is saving your money!! It's that easy.
Maybe you would like to save your allowance or birthday money for a cool

or Nintendo®
game, bike, Barbie®
or sneakers. You can save your money in your Savings Account
at WestWorks Credit Union.
A Credit Union is like
a bank, but there are a
couple of differences. When you open your own savings
account at a Credit Union, you become an owner of the credit union - and
a member of the credit union. Like when you opened your own
savings account and joined the "Looney Tunes Kids Savings Club," you
became part owner of your new credit union, WestWorks Credit Union.
You are now an "Official" Member! We think that's great!
 At
a bank when you open a savings account, you don't own the bank.
You are a customer, or shopper, of that bank, you aren't a member.
When you are a member and an owner of a credit union, you get treated
